Map Reading - Where Is That?: Level B - Speaking Lesson
 
Students practice prepositions of place and other phrases for giving directions.  An information gap activity calls for students to give directions to each other. They have the same map, but one of them is 20 years out of date!  A lesson for self study accompanies this lesson.  Students must prepare a script to use when calling friends to invite them to a party.  The invitation includes driving directions to their home from school.  Students must record themselves leaving a message for a friend who is not at home when they call.
